Pocahontas Marries John Rolfe

On April 5, 1614, Indian Princess Pocahontas was baptized and then wed to farmer John Rolfe. Pocahontas' father, Indian chief King Powhatan, did not attend the wedding, although he did approve of the marriage. Pocahontas died three years later, while visiting Great Britain.
